The current project setup contains three versions of the code! Your challenge will be to rewrite it completely in the upcoming months and narrow it to only one, unique.

Project details

A professional in the aviation industry successfully sold his previous startup and then decided that he wants to begin a new project, so here we are. He is about to make large investments for the company in the near future, so you might as well be a part of it. The timing is perfect, with the opportunity to grow within the firm and create something amazing.

The application’s purpose is to report the plane’s defects and anomalies, from the first opening until it is resolved. Since the aircraft is very complex on its own, it’s only logical to assume that the whole project involves handling a lot of data. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar role

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript)

• Expertise with Java and Java frameworks (SpringBoot), as well as JavaScript frameworks (React.js)

• Familiarity with database technology such as PostgreSQL

• Experience as a Team Leader is a plus

• Excellent organizational, plus communication and teamwork skills

• Great attention to detail

Mandatory:

• 7+ years in software development

• Working with the following technologies- Java, React, TypeScript, SpringBoot, Postgres database

Key responsibilities:

• Writing clean and functional code on both sides, frontend and backend

• Integrating databases and servers, to provide functionality

• Testing and fixing bugs, as well as other coding issues

• Coming up with software solutions, alongside product managers and development teams

• Designing client-side and server-side architecture

• Establishing and maintaining well-performing databases and applications

• Writing effective APIs

Team

At the moment, three developers are assigned to the project. They really love Scrum and are using it as the main working methodology. It’s good to know that you won’t need to interact with clients, as the Project Manager and Business Analyst are in charge of handling all that stuff.

• Eight hours workday, with a flexible start between 9 AM and 11 AM
