Position details

TIAC is looking for a senior C++ Software Engineer who will join their team and work on the development and maintenance of FinTech product(s). The project is currently in production, which includes an STT trading engine and a C++ engine that execute trade orders on the stock market.

By joining TIAC, you will become part of a stable company and work in an established team with no tight deadlines and stress, only colleagues who are experienced and like sharing their knowledge with others. The working methodology used in the team is Agile (but not SCRUM by the book).

Project details

TIAC is a managed development center working on various projects, with the ones from the FinTech industry being dominant. Some of them are: classic trading platforms, trading post processing, crypto trading platforms, risk analysis tools, credit exposure, and various reporting ones. Apart from that, they have projects in the core insurance field, small information systems, aggregator platforms, logistics & distribution. They are mostly working in a B2B field or a business-wise B2C field.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, test, support, and maintain software solutions to meet business requirements
Work closely with business users, technology groups, program management, and product management on the preparation of test cases
Involved in making architectural decisions and bringing them to life
Being a part of the deployment chain

Requirements

Has 3+ years of experience with C++, especially in Linux environments
Has a strong understanding of networks, distributed systems, applications, or event management disciplines
Has at least a B2 level of proficiency in English
Is a team player
Is able to communicate clearly with the rest of the team (including technical and management colleagues)

Nice to have skills and experiences for this position

Experience in the financial domain is a plus (capital markets, trading lifecycle, FIX protocol, crypto trading)
Higher education in IT/Computer Science

Team

Currently, there are seven people in the team, and with time, the person working in this position can gain bigger responsibilities regarding the product architecture and become a Tech Lead for one of the products or even the whole C++ team.
