About this company

Founded in 2018, Haptiq AS is a software as a service (SaaS) company pioneering virtual twin simulators for training, planning, and collaboration. Their no-code AR/VR platform takes development to new speed levels and graphical quality. Starting from 1st February 2022, they are working under a new name - Cloudberrie.

The company currently operates in Europe, but they are planning to expand to the USA market as well. They are working in different industries, such as the healthcare industry, energy, military, entertainment, and others.

Some of their previous customers were the Department of Health and Human Services in Oslo, VisitOSLO, an experienced Nordic oil and gas company called Lundin Norway, and others.

Currently, 44 people are working for the company, and they are looking to grow and hire up to 10-15 new employees in different locations in the next year.

Position details

Cloudberrie (former Haptiq) is on the lookout for Medior or Senior backend developers to join their team of experts and work on developing one of the world’s most advanced VR software systems. The Beta version of the project you will be working on is most likely to launch in February 2022.

Your mission would be to research, implement, test, and help other teams integrate.

Project details

Cloudberrie’s central project is building a universal development platform for VR simulators for training, planning, and collaboration, but they are also working on smaller AR/VR projects.

Key responsibilities

Developing new features and improving the quality of the existing codebase; participating in forming backend solutions
Designing and setting up databases
Developing and maintaining tools for data handling and analysis
Developing and maintaining API access points in conjunction with the front-end team
Developing and maintaining systems on cloud platforms such as AWS
Ensuring security and integrity within systems
Writing elegant, efficient, and testable code that is easy to maintain and debug
Cover code with tests and perform manual testing of features while reviewing the work of colleagues

Requirements

Has BS/MS in Computer Science, Informatics or similar
Has experience with cloud solutions such as AWS/Azure; SQL and relational databases; experience with both HTTPS and TCP/UDP protocols
Has experience dealing with and handling security
Has solid working knowledge of one or more languages: C#, .NET, Python or Java
Is highly motivated
