Position details
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will join the company’s ongoing efforts for better software. It's an exciting position where you'll be responsible for building quality from the ground up. You will work closely with developers, the product team, other teams and report to the QA Team Lead.
Project details
You will work on an internal, live product which is a global fintech platform that offers interest-bearing savings accounts, borrowing, and payments with digital assets. The product itself is growing in all fields - currently 1,000,000 + users and $24B+ in assets under management awarded for the best wallet of the year.
Key responsibilities
Working closely with Web, Mobile app’s teams, Product, system integration, andperformance testing
Perform hands-on testing for high scale Web, mobile tests
Be the focal point of the Web, Mobile applications quality
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a manual QA for Web and Mobile apps
1+ years of experience with writing & running Automation tests
Good and vast knowledge in QA methodologies
Programing language (Java, Python, or similar)
Experience in testing APIs
Experience in writing STD, STP, STR
Experience with a defect tracking system (i.e. Jira)
Experience with Selenium, Appium Studio
Experience Jenkins, GitHub
Experience with ADB, Dev Tools
Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
Self-motivated work well independently and with others
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Team Player
Bonus skills
Experience within FinTech is a plus
Knowledge of a programing language
Affinity for Blockchain and Crypto is a plus
Experience within other industries that require high responsibility (banks) is a plus
Education in IT is a big plus
Team
There are 13 teams focused on different user experiences and features. They also have traditional departments divided into Frontend (WebApps - React.JS; Mobile: React Native, Native app) and Backend (Node JS + TypeScript + PostgreSQL).
Working conditions
Working contract - unlimited with a three month probation period
Salaries are paid on the last working day of the month
