Position details

 Playstudios is looking for a Senior iOS developer to join their Playawards team, which is responsible for the development of their loyalty service and gaming platform. They use Native SDKs for iOS, Android, FireOS, Unity, and others to provide the services they offer inside games and apps. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, fully responsible for extending the platform with new capabilities, features, and delivering a full solution to game studios and partners.

Project details 

With playAWARDS, clients from travel and leisure industries will be able to integrate their offers into beautifully designed casual games as an integral part of the players' total experience. Consequently, their products and services are exposed frequently and over a prolonged period of time to a large number of extremely receptive consumers, ensuring that their brand is always on top of everyone’s mind. Nearly five million Playstudios users receive their first in-app awards during their first play sessions.

Key responsibilities 

• Extending their iOS SDK with new features and services

• Executing a full software development life cycle of core systems and infrastructures - such as networking, purchases, login, notifications, downloading, etc.

• Ensuring stability, security, performance, and architectural cleanliness of the systems

• Staying up-to-date with the latest iOS SDK trends to ensure that the latest mobile devices are supported

• Integrating and supporting third party libraries

Requirements

• Expertize with the iOS SDK, which helps you create scalable, dynamic, extensible, and highly performant applications

• Strong communication skills that enable you to work closely with others, while also being able to independently deliver broad business results

• Familiarity and comfortability with agile methodologies

• Passion for learning new technologies, practices, and designs

Mandatory requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on native iOS development (Objective-C/Swift)

• Working knowledge of remote APIs, concurrency, layouts, transitions, animations, client-side persistence, and architectural patterns on mobile apps

• A deep understanding of building and shipping complex product experiences on frequently updated business-critical iOS apps

Team 

There are currently four team members in the working team that this person will join, and they are all Senior developers.

Working conditions

• Salaries are paid by the fifth day of the month

• Open to flexible working hours. General working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, and for playAWARDS team from 11 AM to 7 PM

• Remote setup for the Playawards team (but employees are welcome to work from the office if that’s their preference)

• 25 vacation days
